Proposals for the regeneration of Adastral Park and surrounding land have been designed to encourage sustainable transport choices and minimise the impact of new development on existing transport networks.  BT currently operates a Green Travel Plan for its current operations at Adastral Park, and will extend this to the whole area subject to proposals.  BT’s proposals for Adastral Park also include:

  • A primary access through the site for pedestrians, cyclists, buses and cars
  • Significant investment to enhance and improve junctions to support the bigger development
  • Creation of new access points onto Heath Road / Waldringfield Road connecting to the A12 at the Foxhall roundabout
  • A network of landscaped boulevards and streets, footpaths and cycle routes
  • Provisional locations for a network of bus stops, designed to be within walking distance (400m) of all homes and businesses
