Adastral Park is one of the key drivers of the local and regional economy, contributing more than £800 million each year.  The Park currently supports around 4,000 jobs. 

BT employs the majority of workers at Adastral Park, but it is also home to a number of other companies, including hi-tech multinationals attracted to the Park by its global reputation for innovation.

BT’s proposals will secure Adastral Park’s long-term future and ensure that it can maintain its position as an international centre for technology and innovation.

Proposals submitted by BT include:

• The creation of some new jobs
• Comprehensive regeneration of employment space and facilities at Adastral Park to create a working environment able to support cutting-edge technological innovation
• Up to 60,000 square metres of new employment floorspace – to be used by BT as well as other companies already based at the park, and new companies
• Improvements to security at Adastral Park, enabling the Park to transition from a private, gated facility to a campus-style community, accessible to all
